What are the cheeses made with?

We use multiple bases depending on the cheese — millet, soy, almond, cashew, pea protein, sunflower seed, walnut, and vital wheat gluten. Some cheeses use a combination. Every product page lists exactly what's in it so you know what you're working with before you order.

How long do they last?

Every product is best within 4-6 weeks of the day we make it. You'll find the best by date on the label — we put it there so you don't have to guess.

Do your products work in recipes?

Absolutely. Most of them were designed with cooking in mind. Check the recipe section for inspiration, or the individual product pages — each one includes notes on how to use it best.

Do you cater?

We don't cater directly, but we're happy to supply our products to your caterer of choice. Reach out and we'll make it easy for them.

When will my order ship?

We ship every Wednesday — that's intentional. It keeps your order out of a weekend warehouse and moving straight to you. Orders received by Sunday ship that Wednesday, arriving Thursday in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, or Friday everywhere else. Orders placed Monday or Tuesday may ship that same Wednesday if we have your items in stock.

I ordered online for store pickup — how will I know when my order is ready?

If you paid at checkout, your order is ready immediately during our open hours — no waiting. If you're ordering ahead, just leave a note at checkout with your preferred pickup day and we'll have it waiting for you.

 

 

Can you include a gift note with a gift subscription?

Yes — leave a note at checkout with what you'd like it to say and we'll include a handwritten card in the first month's package. If you'd rather we send an email announcement to your recipient instead, just say so in the same note.

Are the subscription cheeses gluten-free?

All subscription cheeses are gluten-free. However depending on the variety, they may contain other allergens including tree nuts, soy, or seeds. If you have specific allergen concerns, reach out before subscribing and we'll make sure you have everything you need to make the right call.
